During its July meeting, the Covington Board of Education approved a one-year waiver of K–12 general school fees for the 2026–2027 school year. This means families will not be charged the annual general school fees for students in grades K–12 this school year.
Start of the school year strong by reviewing these important details for the 2026-2027 school year.
Parents are highly encouraged to fill out the free and reduced meal application for your family through PaySchools Central QuikApps or the paper application available at your child's school. For the 2026-27 school year, any student qualifying for reduced lunch will get their breakfast and lunch free.
School supply lists for Covington Elementary and Covington Middle School are available on the schools' webpages under the Parents menu.
Covington Exempted Village School District intends to dispose of special education records of former students born in 2001 and 2002. Any former student who wishes to access those records prior to disposal should contact Karol Hogue, special education coordinator, by email or leave a message at 937-473-3628 prior to October 2, 2026.
All students in K-12 that are attending Covington Schools must have their Final Forms annual information updated and signed off by a parent. Parents login using the account they setup and students entering grades 6-12 must sign in using their school Google account.
