GovDeals is Covington’s online portal for school equipment auctions. All auctions are open to the public; in order to bid, future buyers must first create an account and complete the free and easy registration form. New bidder registration can be completed at GovDeals.com/Register.  

 

GovDeals is a live online auction, allowing Covington Schools' surplus items to be sold on an as-needed basis to a global audience. It allows us to maximize the number of potential bidders, which drives up the price and increases the revenue we receive for retired and surplus equipment.  With tens of thousands of registered buyers in Ohio, the process eliminates the need to manage and store items for long periods of time.  In addition, surplus items are typically viewed as being more valuable if they are removed from operation in working order and immediately tagged for auction.  GovDeals secures all payments and directly provides Covington's profit to the treasurer.  Buyers purchase items through GovDeals and are responsible for picking them up or paying for their delivery.  For further information and to view items currently available for bidding, please visit http://www.govdeals.com/covingtonschools.
