Getting Started with ParentSquare
IMPORTANT NOTE - We are working to roll this tool out for use in August 2026. If you see limited content, please do not be alarmed. Parents and students may have limited access and updates until that time. We will be piloting its use with some teachers as well as the fall athletics programs throughout the summer. Covington Schools will continue to use Remind for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.
Covington is thrilled to launch ParentSquare, a new platform to connect families and schools. ParentSquare will be the primary way our schools share important information with families. ParentSquare is a safe, secure, and modern approach to communication and collaboration between school and home.

As a registered parent, you can:
- Receive messages from the school and district via phone, email, text, or app notification
- Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6 pm
- Comment on school postings to engage with your school community
- Direct message teachers and staff
- Participate in group messages from schools and teachers
- Sign up to volunteer, sign up to donate school supplies, and more all from your desktop or mobile device

How do I activate my ParentSquare account?
While it is not required to receive text and email updates from the schools, we highly suggest all parents/caregivers: 1) download the ParentSquare app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store, and 2) activate your ParentSquare account with the email address that is registered with your student through FinalForms. Students in grades 6-12 can also download the ParentSquare app and connect with their CEVSD email address using Sign in with Google.
On the app, enter your email or cell phone number. The email and/or cell phone number should match what is provided in FinalForms.
On the web, click ‘Sign In’, then under ‘Register’ section, put your email or phone number and click '“Go”.
If the email or phone number is not recognized by ParentSquare, parents should update their contact information in FinalForms. School offices will process those change requests and update our records.
