Superintendent

Welcome to the Covington EVSD website. Thank you for taking the time to visit. Covington EVSD is a small rural district located in Miami County. On average, we have between 850-900 students enrolled annually and around 100 staff members. The district consists of Covington Elementary School (grades K-5), Covington Middle School (grades 6-8), and Covington High (grades 9-12). Many Covington High School students also attend the Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua, Ohio for career readiness training.

We are very proud that Covington EVSD is an EXCELLENT district. The faculty and staff of Covington Schools are driven by our mission statement, "To provide an excellent educational foundation that prepares our students to become productive and responsible citizens." At Covington Schools we care about the entire educational process for our students. It is our hope that each child has a positive learning experience and grows to appreciate learning. It is equally important that children are taught fundamental character education skills and values that will help them as they progress through the school system and into society.

In addition to the strong academic experience at Covington EVSD, our students have opportunities to participate in a number of extra/co-curricular activities. From music and the fine arts to athletics and school clubs, we encourage participation in many school programs to maximize our children's time at Covington Schools. Covington EVSD competes in the Three Rivers Conference athletic league and is perennially competitive in most sports within the league and in the Southwest District. Extra-curricular activities teach teamwork and sportsmanship, which we believe are fundamental components to the success of our students. Please take some time to view the valuable information on our website. If you have any questions about Covington Schools, please do not hesitate to contact me.
