FFA Emblem

At the State FFA Convention in Columbus, the Covington FFA was named the #1 FFA chapter in the state in Building Communities. Also named a Top Ten Overall, Top Ten Growing Leaders, and Top Ten in Strengthening Agriculture.  

Class of 2024

Commencement for the Class of 2024 will be held on Sunday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Hobart Arena in Troy.  Doors open at 1:30 p.m.  Graduates are to report to their designated area by 1:15 p.m. There are no restrictions placed on the number of family and friends that can attend graduation.  Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis.

As educators we recognize the importance of sharing timely information with the parents of our students.  ProgressBook ParentAccess is an online tool that allows parents to keep up to date on their child's daily assignments grades, quarterly report cards and daily attendance. For account setup information, please contact your student's school office.

In an effort to keep everyone updated on upcoming athletic events, schedule changes, time changes, cancellations, and anything else that may come up, the Athletic Department has created a new Remind group called "2023-2024 Community Athletic Updates" where we will share that information!

Campfire Literacy Night

Please join us on March 14, 2024 (6:00 - 7:30), for our Family Reading Night! We will transform the school into Camp Read-a-Lot! Every student who comes gets a free book and spirit tag. Please make sure you stay with your children during this time as we want you to participate in the activities together.

Once Upon a High School poster

CHS Drama Club presents Once Upon a High School on Friday, March 8th and Saturday, March 9th in the K-8 Gymnasium. The show starts at 7:00 with the doors opening at 6:30. Presale tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.

Kara Stephan with Agriscience project bread

Congratulations to CHS senior Kara Stephan, who has been named Star State Degree in Agriscience Research Integrated Systems. This means that not only has Kara earned her State FFA Degree, the highest degree the state can bestow, but she has also been named a Top 4 Finalist in the State of Ohio! She will find out later this spring at the state FFA convention if she earned the top spot in Agriscience Research.
